T-Shirt Hell is now looking for shirt slogans to put on holiday shirts.  The three holidays specifically mentioned are Christmas, Kwanzah, and Hanukkah.  Payment as usual includes royalties as well as a free shirt.

Peaceable Kingdom: greeting card market

Peaceable Kingdom makes greeting cards, games, and other products marketed toward kids.  They have very detailed submission guidelines on their website, unlike many other greeting card companies.

Submissions can be emailed, and will be replied to within a month to a month and a half.  Payment is $50 and 12 sample cards (no writer's credit on the cards).  Submit six card ideas at a time.  See their guidelines for formatting instructions.

Blue Mountain Arts Poetry Card Contest

Blue Mountain Arts holds biannual contests for poetry to appear on greeting cards.  The current contest is open through December 31st 2015 and offers prizes of $300, $150, and $50 to the winners.  It's free to enter and you can submit as many poems as you want.

T-Shirt Hell is seeking t-shirt slogan ideas pertaining to "topical news and current events."  Take a look around the site to see what they like... this is not a kid-friendly or "clean" market.

T-Shirt Hell used to pay a flat rate per shirt idea purchased.  They have now switched over to a royalties-based structure instead.  If your idea is selected, you'll receive a free shirt, and T-Shirt Hell will sell your shirt idea for a month to see how it goes.  If the feedback is positive, you'll start receiving royalties on each shirt sold.  If not, you get your idea back to sell elsewhere (and keep the free shirt).  You can read all the fine print by clicking on the Terms link on the submission page.
