7th Annual Create-A-Greeting-Card $10,000 Scholarship Contest

If you're enrolled in high school or college or you are a member of the military, you may be eligible to enter the Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest, which offers a grand prize of a $10,000 scholarship (plus $1,000 awarded to your school).  There's no fee to enter, and you can even enter online.  To read the complete contest rules, click on the link above to go to the contest web page and then click the "Full Official Scholarship Rules" link.

The deadline for submissions is January 15th, 2014.  In addition to the grand prize, $1000 will be given to one member of the armed services who enters the contest.

Minted's Fall in Love Wedding Invitation Challenge

This contest may appeal to greeting card writers.  Minted.com is hosting a contest for wedding invitations,  You can view the complete guidelines and download the submission kit on the contest web page, but it's an open contest with big prizes and no entry fee.  The top prizes awarded will be $1500, $750, and $500, along with the fourth- through thirtieth-place winners receiving $200 each.

There is definitely a lot of money-making potential here.  In addition to the top 30 cash prizes, additional special prizes will be awarded, including a $250 Newbie Award among many others.  The deadline to have your submission in by is November 22nd.

Hallmark's current greeting card contest

Hallmark's greeting card contest for this month is for caregivers or those who require caregivers. The standard $250 prize applies, and the deadline for submissions is November 17th.
