Newsguild anniversary slogan contest

Newsguild -- the guild for journalists, writers, reporters, editors, photographers, etc. -- is holding a slogan contest to mark their 80th anniversary.  They want a "punchy but meaningful" slogan.  Submissions can be made by email or Facebook, and must be in by December 14th.  The chosen winner will receive $200.

Today (11/20) is the last day to enter the current Ephemera caption contest.  Submit your caption for the picture shown on the contest page and you could win $50.

Next Hallmark contest in January

Hallmark is taking a break from greeting card contests until the new year.  The next contest will open January 7th, 2013, and it will be for "a holiday card that focuses on peace, unity, and joy all over the world."  Stay tuned for more information.
